The Bosch Rexroth PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-V1-NN-FW is an advanced logic and motion control. It is part of VisualMotion machine control systems which also includes Rexroth servo drives, I/O modules and programming software. To ensure that the firmware features match the intended application the firmware for the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-V1-NN-FW needs to be ordered separately. Three slots are available on each PPC-R22 control such as the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-V1-NN-FW. These slots can be used for installation of modules to match the control to the user application. In the case of the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-V1-NN-FW, a DeviceNet master module and a PLS master module (programmable limit switch) are installed in two of the slots. The third slot is available for a third optional module. Memory module is not available on the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-V1-NN-FW. The control is available in RECO 2 form factor.

SERCOS interface on the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-V1-NN-FW supports 2, 4, 8 or 16 megabaud. Two serial interface ports are available on the control. The baud rate for these serial interfaces can be selected through software and can range from 9600 to 115200 baud. Built-in Ethernet port is also available on the control. The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-V1-NN-FW is mounted using RMB02.2 racks on RS 35 x 27 x 15 DIN rails. Enclosure of the control is IP 20 rated as per DIN VDE 0470 and EN 60529. Optimal and reliable long-term operation of the control required 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature, 860 to 1080 hPA pressure (which corresponds to 1500 meters altitude) and 5 to 78% relative humidity. The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-V1-NN-FW is powered by an external 24 Volts DC supply capable of providing 1.2 Amps current. Installation and maintenance of the control must only be performed by trained personnel.
