The PPC-R22.1N-N-NN-P1-NN-FW model comes with a PROFIBUS-DP master module having an input/output capacity of 64 bytes. It is used for communication between the control and other I/O devices. The PROFIBUS-DP master module comes with a standard 9 pin Profibus D-sub connector having an operating temperature of 0 to 55 degree Celsius. The other two slots of the VisualMotion 10 are empty. The PPC-R22.1 control can be programmed by using VisualMotion Toolkit (PC software). A GPP 10 firmware is installed in the model which helps in controlling up to 40 intelligent servo drives. It is recommended to use the PPC-R22.1 logic/motion control with Rexroth IndraDrive, Diax 04, and EcoDrive 03 drives. The real-time communication between the control and servo drives is performed by using the SERCOS interface. The PPC-R22.1 can be installed vertically in slot 00 of the Reco 02 rack from Bosch Rexroth. The model operates at the rated voltage of 24 VDC and it consumes 1.2 A of maximum current.

The model PPC-R22.1N-N-NN-P1-NN-FW comes with a 4-digit alpha-numeric matrix display (H1) which shows motion and integrated PLC diagnostic messages. Motion related diagnostic messages are stored in control parameters C-0-0122, while integrated PLC diagnostic messages are stored in C-0-1612. The data required to operate the control is stored on the PFM01.1 compact flash memory card and on the onboard NVRam memory. A real-time clock is placed inside the control. The control provides protection against solid particles having a diameter greater than 12.5 mm but it will not provide any resistance against liquids due to its IP 20 protection category. The ambient temperature range for the unit is 0 to +45 degree Celsius and it can be installed at the maximum height of 1500 meters above sea level. The total weight of the model is 1.3 kg and it doesn’t have any memory expansion module.
