Product Description:
The PPC-R22.1N-T-Q1-N1-N2-FW motion and logic control manufactured by Bosch Rexroth is fitted on an RMB rack in its leftmost slot. The standalone control features a R housing design and '2' design code. The product is compatible with ControlNet, Interbus, Profibus and DeviceNet fieldbus slave interfaces. This DeviceNet interface is equipped with four LEDs for diagnosing the communications and status of the bus between the control and the interface. The control incorporates a PLS option card as its programmable limit switch interface. It can support two such option cards with 16 outputs each at a time. The link ring connection can be established through a DAQ03 card.
This multi-axis control comes with an IP 20 degree of protection as per DIN VDE 0470 / EN 60529 specifications. The fiber optic cables and cable connectors of the product should not be overtightened to prevent them from getting damaged. The download mode settings related to the device can be viewed by pressing the S1 button for a couple of seconds and releasing it. The product uses a SERCOS interface as its mode of communication with the digital servo drives. Its VisualMotion Toolkit is integrated with the PLC software to support its PLC logic programming.
The control must be operated only after ensuring that it is neither faulty nor damaged. The device should always be programmed or parameterized before it is started so that the related motor is capable of performing the application-specific functions.
