The PPC-R22.1N-T-NN-P1-P2-FW is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PPC Controllers series. Supplied in a RECO housing, the unit operates as a programmable control platform that exchanges real-time data with motion drives over Sercos and Profibus networks, enabling coordinated axis control in industrial automation cells. Its housing format also supports cabinet installation where centralized machine control and networked motion functions are required.

The controller is powered from a nominal 24 VDC supply, a level common to cabinet auxiliaries, so it can share the same rail as sensors and relays. Its two Sub-D serial connectors support asynchronous messaging at up to 115200 baud, which is useful for parameter download or diagnostic terminals, while the optical Sercos channel moves cyclic process data at 16 MBaud for deterministic drive synchronization. One PPC card can manage up to 40 connected drives, which reduces the need for multiple masters in multi-axis machines. Hardware growth is handled through 3 rear expansion slots that accept additional I/O or communication modules.
