The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-T3-NN-FW CNC module is equipped with a PowerPC microprocessor, 8MB SDRAM main memory and 256-byte serial EEPROM. The module provided by Bosch Rexroth also incorporates several interfaces such as a PC/104 interface, a RECO/PLC interface and a SERCON 410B SERCOS interface. The SERCOS interface features a 4 MBaud transmission rate and helps in communicating with multiple digital drives. The PC/104 interface encompasses an LK SCEB01 PC104 history card and a connection board with ribbon cable and PC slot plate. The ready-for-operation relay assists in system monitoring. This product has Class A noise emittance according to EN 55022 specifications.
The module has a dedicated socket for inserting the firmware module that is compatible with a PC card. This device can be mounted only after the module rack is mounted. The module carrier should have a vertical assembly inside the switch cabinet. The cabinet supports the installation of up to four module racks at a time. The power supply lines have a fuse with a maximum 4A current rating and delay action. The module features an atmospheric pressure rating of 86kPa to 106kPa during operation. The battery assists in buffering real-time clock. The I/O bus supply by the control unit has an overall capacity of 52W.
The digital inlets and outlets of the X1 connector of the CNC module do not have any function. The battery life depends on the duration the control is switched on or off.
