The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-NN-NN-FW is a motion / logic control with integrated Ethernet. The Ethernet supports both Ethernet / IP slave fieldbus and standard TCP / IP. The control has three expansion slots. The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-NN-NN-FW is factory fitted with one expansion module which is a PLS master module (programmable limit switch). Integrated memory module is not available on the control. A maximum of forty digital drives can be connected to one control over SERCOS interface. The drives which are compatible with the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-NN-NN-FW include Rexroth IndraDrive, Rexroth DIAX 04, and Rexroth EcoDrive 03. A computer-based software from Bosch Rexroth, known as VisualMoton Toolkit, can be used for programming and configuration of the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-NN-NN-FW. A serial programming interface on the control which supports RS 232 / RS 422 / RS 485 can be used to connect to the programming PC.
The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-NN-NN-FW is based on a Power PC processor and comes with 8 megabytes of RAM. It also includes 256 bytes of EPROM. A four-digit display is provided on the front panel. Three digital inputs and two digital outputs are also available. Housing of the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-NN-NN-FW has IP 20 environmental rating which measures 214 x 83.7 x 165 millimeters and weighs 2.87 pounds. When unused, the control needs to be kept in a location where the temperature is maintained between -25 and 70 degrees Celsius. Recommended ambient temperature for operation is from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-NN-NN-FW can operate with DC input ranging from 19.2 to 30 Volts DC with maximum 5% allowed ripple. The control draws 1.2 Amps from the DC power supply which can increase by up to 2.3 Amps with I/O bus supply.
