The PPC-R22.1N-N-V1-T3-NN-FW is a control unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PPC Controllers series. Installed in automation cabinets, the module serves as the central control unit that coordinates motion axes, discrete I/O, and higher-level networks. By combining real-time task scheduling with integrated fieldbus master capability, it removes the need for a separate PLC and streamlines communication across drives, sensors, and actuators in assembly lines, packaging equipment, and other industrial applications.

The controller operates from a nominal supply of 24 VDC. Under full load, it draws up to 1.2 A, and the incoming line may carry no more than 4 Vpp of ripple to maintain clean logic power. Network traffic is handled on several ports: the DeviceNet master channel runs at 500 KBaud, the Ethernet interface labeled ETH02 supports a 100 Mb link, and two isolated serial ports can be configured up to 115200 baud for point-to-point communication. Local machine signals terminate on spring terminals that accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², while three digital inputs detect sensor states and two digital outputs drive relays or opto-isolated loads.
