The PPC-R22.1N-N-V1-N1-N2-FW is a control unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the PPC Controllers series. As a programmable platform, it coordinates motion and sequencing tasks by linking drive controllers, sensors, and supervisory computers in an automation cell. The unit accepts 24-VDC control power and presents a compact RECO housing so it can be installed on a DIN rail inside an IP-rated cabinet without additional mechanical adapters.

The controller operates from a supply of 24 VDC and draws logic power through a single plug-in terminal. A PowerPC 603e CPU clocked at PowerPC 266 MHz executes firmware and user code while a local bank of 32 MB SDRAM buffers real-time variables. Nonvolatile data such as machine offsets are stored in 128 KB of NVRAM. Three digital inputs and two digital outputs are provided; the outputs can source up to 0.5 A each for valve coils or relay drivers. A four-digit alphanumeric display shows status codes during commissioning. Network integration is handled by a DeviceNet master interface, and two RS-232/RS-485 serial ports support point-to-point devices.
