The PPC-R22.1N-N-NN-P2-NN-FW model is used as a stand-alone control. It can be installed vertically in the leftmost slot of an RMB rack. This slot is identified as slot 00. The VisualMotion 10 containing PPC-R22.1 hardware is capable of controlling up to 40 intelligent digital drivers from Bosch Rexroth. The model uses a 1.5 mm2 cable for a 24 VDC electrical connection from the power supply unit. The total dimensions of the model are 217 × 84 × 165 mm (H × W × D). The PPC-R22.1 control can be installed into the Reco 02 rack along with the LocalReco 02 I/O modules and they can communicate via SERCOS, with Rexroth inline, SercosReco racks, and drive I/O cards. The permissible voltage range for this model is 19.2 – 30 VDC including ripples and the unit consumes 1.2 A of current (+ supply voltage for I/O modules up to 2.6 A). The net weight of the unit is approximately 1.3 kg (2.87 lbs).
The model PPC-R22.1N-N-NN-P2-NN-FW has three expansion slots which contain different modules and interfaces according to the required configuration. Slot 1 contains the PLS master module (programmable limit switch) and slot 2 contains the PROFIBUS-DP slave module for communication between control and drives. Slot 3 of the model is empty. The PPC-R22.1 motion/logic control operates at GPP 10 firmware which contains required parameters and operating software. The unit can be grounded by using a grounding bolt. The model comes with IP 20 protection standard and its permissible temperature range is 0 to +45 degree Celsius. The firmware for this model must be ordered separately.
