The PPC-R22.1N-N-N1-N2-V2-FW model operates at the nominal voltage of 24 VDC with 4 Vpp permissible ripples. The supply voltage must never drop below +20 VDC. If it occurs, a POWER-FAIL signal will become active and shutdown the motion/logic control. The PPC-R22.1 control is a programmable multi-axis motion and logic control that is capable of controlling up to 40 intelligent digital drives of the IndraDrive, Diax 04, and EcoDrive family. The model comes with a VisualMotion GP 10 firmware which provides multi-axis coordinated or non-coordinated motion control with tightly integrated logic control functions. The PPC-R22.1 control should be mounted in a vertical upright position in slot 00 of the first RMB rack along with the Reco 02 input/output modules, allowing communication along the Reco 02 back-plane bus. The minimum clearance should be maintained above and below the control to provide sufficient space for heat dissipation. The H1 display of the control allows additional settings and control status that can be retrieved by pressing the S1 push button on the control.
The model PPC-R22.1N-N-N1-N2-V2-FW comes with a 32MB compact flash memory card to store user programs, PLS parameters, program variables, I/O configurations, and the GPP 10 firmware module. The model is equipped with a PLS master and slave module. The DeviceNet slave module is installed in this unit as a Fieldbus interface. Only one Fieldbus interface of each type can be installed in a control at one time. The model doesn’t provide any resistance against liquids due to its IP 20 protection standard and it can be installed at the maximum altitude of 1500 meters above sea level, between the temperature ranges of 0 to +45 degree Celsius, without a reduction in rated data.
