Supplied in a RECO housing, the module occupies a compact slot in the drive cabinet and directs multi-axis motion sequences, position latching, and general machine I/O. By combining onboard processing with fieldbus exchange, it lets servo drives, sensors, and actuators execute time-critical steps in coordination with the plant cycle.

The controller operates from a nominal input of 24 VDC, and its base draw remains at 1.2 A, allowing it to be powered from the same low-voltage rail that feeds auxiliary automation hardware. Application code and parameters reside in 32 MB of flash memory, so programs are retained after shutdown without external memory. Three backplane connectors expose 3 expansion slots, so option cards such as the PLS module can be added without increasing enclosure depth.
