Product Description:
The PPC-R22.1 CNC module is enclosed in a double-wide housing. This Bosch Rexroth module requires two slots in the module rack for its mounting. It features a separate slot for fitting the serial COM interface. This interface has a setting of 9,600 Baud, 1 stop bit, 8 data bits, no parity and protocol XON/XOFF. The device can be operated using the MTC200 control unit firmware and additional hardware components. The buffer battery connection is present on top of the unit below a plastic cover. The completely discharged battery must be substituted with a new one when the power supply is turned on to avoid the loss of SRAM data.
The CNC module features an H2 distortion display for its SERCOS interface. The non-functioning X10 serial interface is electrically isolated. The product is capable of operating a maximum of 15 I/O modules. It uses the manufacturer’s local bus for communicating with the MTS-R01.2 PLC assembly. The device must not be used if there is extreme temperature fluctuation. It should always be operated by trained and qualified personal. The power supply has a cross-sectional area of 0.75 to 1.5mm2 for its connection cable. The CPU firmware component of the module is responsible for various tasks like tool management, block processing and communication with the PLC.
