The controller is mainly responsible for transferring information to the drive alongside of receiving and analyzing feedback. In simpler words, the control is the intelligent part of the system that works at the backend to ensure smooth running.
Bosch Rexroth’s complete system solutions allow for consistent and modern factory automation. These systems are known to support a wide range of drives, including hydraulic, electric and hybrids. The PPC-R series by Bosch Rexroth consists of powerful controllers in a compact size and IP 20 rating. Bosch Rexroth’s PPC-R02.2N-N-NN-B2-NN-FW is part of the PPC Controller series from series 2, version 2. The housing version for the PPC-R02.2N-N-NN-B2-NN-FW controller is for the RECO unit and the controller is not fitted with a memory expansion module. Since the PPC-R02.2N-N-NN-B2-NN-FW controller is a standard controller, it only has a factory assigned configuration and a factory assigned firmware. According to the application and loaded software, the PPC-R series of controllers can work as a PLC or as an NC controller.
Bosch Rexroth’s PPC-R unit is available in two enclosure versions of separate widths. Since Bosch Rexroth believes in providing a complete solution to all automation needs, the two interfaces available on the PPC-R controller are fully connected as per the Indramat standard. The function of the controller can easily be selected by the related application, and the COM interface is accessible through a separate slot plate. Most of the PPC-R control units by Bosch Rexroth are also equipped with a BT bus that allows application-related operator inputs to be used.
