You will be able to control a number of Bosch Rexroth intelligent digital drives. You can commission and program this logic control system with the use of the VisualMotion Toolkit which is a PC programming software.
The PPC-R02.2N-N-N1-P2-NN-FW controller is a stand-alone unit that features the Reco 02 form factor, which is the type of form factor that Bosch Rexroth uses in a number of its PCL’s, I/O modules and in some of its motion controls as well. It works with devices that share the local Reco 02 backplane bus which uses it for data exchange. Recommendations on usage for this device are for the Diax 04 and the EcoDrive 03 digital servo drives carried to you from the manufacturer, Bosch Rexroth. The digital servo drives communicate with the control via means of the SERCOS interface.
