The PPC-R01.2N-N-V2-FW is a control unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PPC Controllers series. As a Series 1 unit in the RECO housing style, the module forms the central motion and logic layer for Indramat drive systems, translating higher-level commands into axis control through its embedded processor. Within an automation cell, it coordinates servo drives, gathers I/O status data, and communicates over fieldbus so production lines can maintain synchronized position and timing. It can also manage sequencing tasks between the controller, connected drives, and peripheral modules, which helps keep machine responses orderly during automatic operation.
The unit draws its logic power from a 24 VDC supply and uses a time-lag fuse rated at 4 A on that circuit to avoid nuisance trips during inrush. Under continuous operation, maximum current consumption remains at 0.7 A, while the internal I/O bus can deliver 2.3 A and up to 52 W to connected sensor and actuator cards.
