The PPC-R01.2N-N-P2-FW is a control unit built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the PPC Controllers series. This compact standalone module coordinates axis movements and related machine functions by processing input signals and issuing timed output commands to drives and actuators. Mounted on a DIN rail inside a cabinet, the unit links the automation layer to higher-level production control and provides the precise timing and logical interlocking required in assembly lines, packaging equipment, and material-handling cells.

Its electrical backbone is a nominal supply of 24 VDC. From this rail, the controller can furnish up to 3.0 A on the 5 V user bus and 2.3 A on the 24 V user bus, giving external sensors and light loads a shared source without additional power supplies. The internal backplane tolerates a maximum I/O bus power of 52 W, so heat dissipation stays within the limits of the RECO housing. Environmental protection reaches IP20, so installation in an enclosure is required. The module draws only 0.7 A from the supply rail during full logic activity, and an auxiliary ready relay rated at 150 mA reports system status to safety circuits. Series 1 hardware offers no memory expansion, so application programs must reside entirely in the onboard flash.
