The PPC-P01.1A-N-NN-NN-NN-FW is the PCI version of the standalone motion and logic control. The device is PC-based and can be used to control motion across multiple axes simultaneously. This model has been equipped with the GMP 10 firmware and can be integrated with the IndraDrive, EcoDrive03, and Diax 04 controllers. For communication between digital drives and control, the system uses the SERCOS interface. The device can be directly plugged-in into the PC’s PCI slot. Interface cards can be directly plugged-in to the system and no jumper cables are required for memory allocation. Because of this, memory allocation is an automatic process in the host PC. For digital outputs, digital inputs, and communication port, a second optional interface card can be used. The device also comes with Rexroth Inline I/O modules and VisualMotion Toolkit (VMT).
The PPC-P01.1A-N-NN-NN-NN-FW supports connection with up to 40 intelligent drives over the Sercos interface. Optionally, SercosRecos 02 I/O modules can also be used with the device. The control unit supports an additional serial interface and up to two Programmable Limit Switch (PLS) option cards. For master/slave interfacing of the VisualMotion Controls, Link Ring can be interfaced with the device. Besides, a Master Encoder Card (EMC) can also be utilized with the system. The PPC-P01.1A-N-NN-NN-NN-FW comes with a built-in diagnostics setup. The display screen consists of a four-digit alphanumeric display that displays real-time status information related to PLC and motion. The diagnostics setup detects different error types and indicates shutdown error, power failure, warning, and probe. The control unit also contains compact flash memory that stores the system’s firmware.
