The NAM1.2-08 is a power line form module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the NAM Power Line Form Modules series. It serves as an interface between the plant mains and Indramat drive groups, routing three-phase power through matched terminals and integrating the external line choke specified for the cabinet. By centralizing these functions, the unit simplifies installation and provides a consistent method for delivering filtered supply voltage to servo controllers and other automation loads.
Its enclosure measures 390 mm in height, 105 mm in width, and 325 mm in depth, so cabinet builders can allocate panel space and maintain correct busbar alignment. During operation, the module dissipates only 90 W of power loss, a level that can usually be removed by the standard cabinet fan without extra heat sinks. A 16-conductor ribbon harness, identified by a pin count of 16, carries control signals to adjacent drive units and keeps low-voltage wiring separate from power cabling. For flexible cabinet layouts, the main power leads may extend up to 10 m between this module and the connected supply transformer.
