The NAM04.2-480-0450-NN-230 model can take the electrical connection from the 3-phase AC 3 × 380 – 460V mainline, ±10% tolerance, with 50/60 Hz of line voltage frequency and then converts it into the DC bus voltage by using a power rectifier. The line connection module can take connection through the L1, L2, and L3 terminals whereas L- and L+ terminals are used for supplying DC bus power to the drive. A complete power supply unit consists of a power supply module (KDV2.3 or KDV4.1) and a line conditioning unit. The NAM04.2-480-0450-NN-230 model is designed to be used with KDV2.3 and KDV4.1 power supply module which helps in delivering power to the Indramat AC drives to operate electrical motors. When the drives are running with a generator, the KDV will act as an inverter and the regenerated energy of 2 – 20 kW is fed back into the electrical power system or is absorbed by a bleeder resistor.
The model NAM04.2-480-0450-NN-230 can produce the DC bus peak power of 48 – 90 kW and 40 kW of peak regenerated power is produced by this model. The inside and outside power loss of the control cabinet is 150 W and 500 W. The total weight of the KDV module is approximately 21 kg excluding the weight of mounting accessories and fan. The module delivers the control voltage output of 22 – 26V which is used to operate the Indramat AC drives. The communication between drive and module is done via wire-ribbon cable. The model comes with 4 fuses (2 for control voltage and 2 for blower power). The module can be stored between the temperature of -30 to +85 degree Celsius and its permissible ambient temperature range is +5 to +45 degree Celsius with the maximum bearable temperature of +55 degree Celsius. It can be installed at the maximum altitude of 1000 meters above sea level without a reduction in drive data and the control cabinet is protected with IP10 protection standard. This module can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
