Product Description:
The NAM 1.2-15 is a power line form module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the NAM Power Line Form Modules series. Installed between the plant’s three-phase supply and the shared DC bus, it conditions incoming energy, distributes it to multiple drive controllers, and returns excess kinetic energy to the mains when loads decelerate. By combining rectification, regenerative handling, and integral bleeder circuitry, the module supports continuous operation of coordinated industrial axes while protecting the supply network from voltage excursions.
This unit can deliver a continuous output of 12 kW to the drive system and can redirect up to 1 kW of recovered energy under steady regenerative loading. The internal DC link sustains 15 kW continuously and accepts transient peaks of 45 kW during rapid acceleration events. When the DC voltage rises above the set threshold, the integrated bleeder consumes as much as 40 kW to maintain safe bus levels. Cable sizing is supported by a 10 mm² AC terminal area secured with 2 Nm of screw torque, while the protective earth connection is tightened to 3 Nm. The DC bus studs offer a 25 mm² cross-section and are clamped with 4 Nm, ensuring low-resistance paths for high pulsed currents.
The energy buffer can absorb up to 60 kWs in a single braking cycle before the bleeder engages, and normal heat dissipation reaches 150 W during rated service. Overall height is 390 mm, overall width is 105 mm, and overall depth is 355 mm, while the electronics body occupies 325 mm of that depth for panel clearance planning. These compact dimensions allow close mounting inside cabinets that contain additional drive electronics. The stated conductor areas and tightening torques support orderly wiring in multi-axis automation cells.
