Product Description:
The Rexroth MTS-R02.2-M2-B1-P2-NN-FW is a SPC in small-size format. For installation it requires 2 slots in a RMB20.2 module carrier. The MTS-R02.2-M2-B1-P2-NN-FW can be used as either a standalone SPC with corresponding I/Os or with motion control as a combined CNC-SPC system. BT interface on the system can be used to interface with operating devices such as BTM15/16 or BTA20. Three options slots are provided on the system for installation of optional modules. Rexroth also manufactures the MTS-R01.2 SPC with one slot for optional modules. The MTS-R01.2 can also be used in standalone and combined modes and takes up one slot in the RMB module carrier. The MTS-R02.2-M2-B1-P2-NN-FW is programmed from SPC program software running on a PC which is connected to the SPC through the programming interface which supports RS-232/422/485 serial protocols.
The maximum length of serial cable between the system and PC with SPC software can be up to 15 meters. The MTS-R02.2-M2-B1-P2-NN-FW has a mechanical RECO design and comes in IP20 rated enclosure. It is shipped from the factory with Profibus-DP slave module and Interbus-S master module. RAM available on the system is 2 MB. Firmware is not installed on the system and needs to be ordered separately. The MTS-R02.2-M2-B1-P2-NN-FW can communicate over Interbus connections with remote I/Os and operator terminals. Maximum segment length supported by the Interbus protocol is 400 meters. Weight and dimensions of the MTS-R02.2-M2-B1-P2-NN-FW are 1.65 kilograms and 83.7 x 192 x 159 millimeters. Permissible cross section for cable supplying electrical power to the system is up to 1.5 mm2. The system is designed for input voltage ranging from 18 to 28 Volts DC and draws maximum 2.6 Amps current. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
