The MTS-R01.2-M2-V1-FW is a part of the CNC-SPS system which consists of SPS and NC modules that provides solutions for a machine tool controller. The MTS-R01 module requires only one slot for installation in the RMB02.2 rack and its enclosure dimensions are 41.5 mm width, 192 mm height, and 156 mm depth having a total weight of 1 kg. The MTS-R01 module can take DC 24V electrical connection through a 1.5 mm2 cable with the permissible voltage range of 18 to 28 VDC including 4 Vss ripples. The supply voltage must never drop below +18 VDC because this would activate the POWER-FAIL signal, and stop the SPS operating program. The maximum current consumption by the module is 0.5A. The storage temperature of the model is -25 to +70 degree Celsius with the operating temperature of 0 to +50 degree Celsius.
The model MTS-R01.2-M2-V1-FW comes with an RS-232/RS-485 programming interface which permits several SPS controllers to be interconnected in a network, or PC to be connected and RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 general-purpose serial interface (COM) is used for the connection of a printer, write/read storage unit or a visualization unit. The 7-segment H1 display indicates the operating status, system errors, and diagnostic results. The model comes with a rechargeable battery which is recharged when an MTS-R unit is in a working state and requires 50 hours for complete charging. The SPS data which includes the SPS user program and retentive data can be lost if the MTS-R unit module is not used for more than 6 months. The firmware for the module must be ordered as a separate sub-position. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
