The MTS-R01.2-M2-P1-FW model operates at DC 24V supply voltage with the permissible ripples of 4 Vss between the voltage ranges of 18 to 28 VDC. The MTS-R01 small format SPS can be used either as a stand-alone SPS with the corresponding I/O or as a combined CNC-SPS system together with an MTC-R unit. The maximum current consumption by the unit is 0.5A with 2.6A of supply voltage for I/O modules. The MTS-R01 small format SPS occupies one module location in the RMB02.2 rack. The model is configured with the PROFIBUS-DP master module which is used for handling communication protocols between the SPS and remote I/O units. The data is exchanged between the SPS and a DPM01 board through an 8-kB dual-port memory. The PROFIBUS-DP master interface permits up to 32 PROFIBUS-DP devices to be connected within a bus segment.
The model MTS-R01.2-M2-P1-FW comes with a programming interface (PROG), general-purpose serial interface (COM), and an additional PROFIBUS-DP interface. The net weight of the model is 1 kg with 41.5 × 192 × 156 mm enclosure dimensions. The device can be mounted in the switchgear cabinet using RMB02.2 racks and secured with a screw. A 6 mm2 cable is required for grounding the controller. The SPS data can be lost if the MTS-R unit is not used for more than 6 months. The service life of the rechargeable battery is between 7 to 10 years. The module is protected by IP 20 protection class and the firmware for this module must be ordered separately. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
