It mounts on a TS 35 × 27 × 15 rail and serves as the central logic element that links drive controllers, I/O expansions, and operator stations on compact machine lines. By using one rack slot, the module provides real-time coordination for motion axes and field devices, while deterministic communication is maintained across the proprietary Bt bus and the serial interfaces used in industrial automation. This arrangement allows command data and operating status to move through the control system without requiring a larger rack footprint.
The module is powered from a nominal bus of 24 VDC, and its internal electronics draw up to 450 mA during peak processing cycles. Thermal dissipation is limited to 12.6 W, so cabinet ventilation can remain minimal, and the IP20 housing protects the circuitry from accidental contact inside closed control enclosures.
