The MTS-R01.1-M1-B1-FW servo control module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MTS Servo Control Modules series. The unit includes an INTERBUS-S master module that communicates with remote I/O through a 9-way female D-sub connector, providing fieldbus supervision for motion axes and auxiliary sensors in automated cells. This arrangement lets the control slot coordinate bus traffic and exchange status data with connected machine devices. It is intended to manage communication between the rack controller and distributed machine nodes without requiring a separate external bus master.

Electrically, the module operates from a stable 24 VDC logic supply and draws up to 450 mA during peak activity, resulting in a thermal dissipation of 12.6 W inside the cabinet. Processing is handled in PLC mode without a coprocessor, so all program execution is performed by the main controller rather than an auxiliary chip.
