The MTS-P02.2-D4-P1-S4-NN-NN-FW model has been developed by Rexroth Indramat for use in industrial PCs such as BTV20/30. The MTS-P control uses Bedien Terminal bus for providing connection up to 4 PC/104 modules. The model can operate on the rated voltage of ±12 V which is supplied by the respective power supply module through the ISA-BUS. The connection between control and NC assembly is carried out via Rexroth Indramat local bus. The COM serial interface comes with an RS232 interface that can be used for programming and it also provides connection attaching printer, scanner, or other I/O modules. The MTS-P control must be mounted into the empty ISA-BUS slot of the commercial PC and if possible the assembly should be fixed by using the delivered holder to prevent the card from loosening by shock or vibrations. The model consumes the rated power of 1.8 A excluding the 2.5 A of power consumed by the operator terminals.
The model MTS-P02.2-D4-P1-S4-NN-NN-FW comes with a basic SPC module, PROFIBUS module, and optional serial interface module. The PROFIBUS module provides communication between different centralized units. The 4 optional serial interfaces (2 × RS232 or 2 × RS485/422) are installed in this model for general use. The module is not protected against liquids and it is suitable to be used for machine tools, printing machines, and handling systems. A lithium-ion battery is placed in this model to store the operating parameters of the SPS. The normal temperature range for this module is 0 to +50 degree Celsius and it can be installed at the maximum height of 1500 meters above sea level.
