The Bosch MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-NN-NN-FW is an ISA-card PLC module which is compatible with industrial computers from Bosch and other manufacturers. Compared to the MTS-P01.2, the MTS-P02.2 modules have 200 to 250% performance advantage. MTS-P01.2 / MTS-P02.2 modules form part of a MTS-P system which consists of a basic unit, an active PC/104 interface and additional PC/104 plug-on modules such as I/O modules, serial interfaces and fieldbus connections. The MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-NN-NN-FW features a serial interface which supports multiple communication protocols. This serial interface can be used for communication with a printer, with read-write memory or with an operation and visualization device such as the Rexroth BTV 04 / 05. The serial interface supports RS 232 and can be configured for RS 422 / RS 485 through software based programming.
The MTS-P02.2-D4-B1-P1-NN-NN-FW should be installed only after the relevant guidelines provided by Bosch in product documentation are read and understood. Spare parts and accessories approved by Bosch can be used with the PLC module. Ambient conditions stated in the product documentation should be implemented for reliable operation. The PLC module should only be started up once the machine or industrial installation complies with the relevant national regulations and safety standards.
