By occupying a single ISA expansion slot, the board supplies deterministic control logic that links multiple axes and discrete I/O to the central software environment.

The module monitors up to four BT bus devices and supports a backbone reach of 50 m, allowing flexible cabinet layout. For host connectivity, it exposes a multistandard port set of RS232 / RS422 / RS485, so the appropriate electrical layer can be selected for the target PLC or HMI. Logic electronics draw 1.8 A at 5 V, which must be budgeted in the PC power supply. Hardware is delivered as an ISA-Bus Plug-In Card, allowing installation in a standard expansion slot without external cabling.
