Product Description:
The MTS-P02.2-D2-P1-P2-E1-NN-FW servo control module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MTS Servo Control Modules series. It plugs into an Indramat automation rack where it conditions low-voltage rails, supervises operator terminals, and exposes PROFIBUS links so drives and PLCs can exchange status and motion commands. By combining power management and fieldbus handling on a single board, the module reduces cabinet wiring and supports communication and supply monitoring for multi-axis systems in general factory automation.
The regulated +5 V supply feeds the module’s microcontrollers and I/O logic, and the rail can deliver up to 1.8 A to downstream boards. Signal quality is maintained by limiting ripple on this rail to 50 mV, which helps reduce jitter on high-speed counters. For deterministic plant networking, the onboard PROFIBUS interface transmits and receives telegrams at a maximum of 12 MBaud. The module measures 22 x 145 x 295 mm, matching the Eurocard format used in Rexroth drive racks. A header also supports up to four Bt Bus operator panels for local parameter entry and diagnostic viewing.
Separate analog rails of +12 V and -12 V supply sensors and interface couplers, and both are filtered to 120 mV ripple to protect conversion accuracy. When the drive controller must signal machine readiness, the isolated relay can switch 24 V / 150 mA, which removes the need for an external interface module. The electronics remain functional in ambient moisture up to 75% non-condensing, and the packaging tolerates transit levels of 95% non-condensing. Master-side communication is enabled by the PROFIBUS card LK DPM01, while installations that need only peripheral response can use the LK DPS01 slave card without changing the base hardware.
