The MTS-P02.2-D2-B1-P1-S4-NN-FW is a plug-in controller card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MTS Servo Control Modules series. It is intended for machine tools and automated handling systems, where it links drives with higher-level PLCs through fieldbus channels while also supervising local motion sequences and diagnostic routines. When installed on the Rexroth backplane, the card provides synchronized command of axis amplifiers and standardized access to serial service ports without increasing control cabinet space. This arrangement lets the control platform coordinate motion commands and status exchange from a central slot in the rack. This module operates from backplane supply rails of +5 V, +12 V, -12 V, and the logic section draws 1.8 A from the 5 V line. Ripple remains tightly controlled, with the 5 V line limited to 50 mV peak-to-peak and the ±12 V rails limited to 120 mV, which helps protect analog and communication circuits from data errors. When Interbus is selected, the card can exchange up to 4096 in/4096 out process bits per cycle and support 512 users, allowing one master to supervise distributed I/O islands. Two RS232 ports and two RS422/485 ports are available for drive parameter setting or scanner connections, and the available serial ports also allow direct connection to peripheral devices that exchange operating or diagnostic data. Cabinet layout is helped by the slim 22 mm width; the module is also 145 mm high and 295 mm deep, so it fits narrow rack spaces without obstructing convection cooling. It operates at up to 75% non-condensing relative humidity, which helps keep insulation stable.
