It features a nominal supply of +5 VDC, +12 VDC, and -12 VDC and supports up to four operator terminals on its Bt Bus with a maximum total length of 50 meters. The module uses an ISA-Bus plug-in card form factor and provides 16 TTL inputs and 16 TTL outputs for local I/O.
Internal Product Review
The MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P2-E1-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat servo control module designed as an ISA-Bus plug-in card with a PC/104 module for integrated panel I/O. INTERBUS-S master functionality and 12.8 km network reach make the unit especially capable in distributed motion systems. PROFIBUS-DP slave support with 8 KB dual-port memory rounds out a very capable control platform.

Product Description:
The MTS-P01.2-D2-B1-P2-E1-NN-FW servo control module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat is installed within drive racks of the MTS Servo Control Modules series. This plug-in board coordinates motion axes, fieldbus links, and local operator stations in industrial automation cells. By offering integrated communication and digital I/O, the module serves as the central processing element between higher-level PLCs and the Indramat servo drives that power motors on production equipment.
It draws a base current of 0.6 A from the host backplane while the three-rail nominal supply of +5 VDC / +12 VDC / -12 VDC supports the logic, analog functions, and fieldbus transceivers. The card follows the ISA-Bus plug-in card format and occupies a profile of 22 × 145 × 295 mm, so it mounts in standard 19-inch PC control chassis without mechanical adaptation. For local visualization, a Bt bus port can connect up to 4 operator terminals over dedicated ribbon lines with a maximum segment length of 50 m. The board also integrates an INTERBUS-S master, a PROFIBUS-DP slave, and a PC/104 socket, permitting simultaneous communication with decentralized I/O, drive inverters, and embedded PC modules.
Fieldbus reach and interface density extend the module’s usefulness beyond a single cabinet. The INTERBUS channel supports remote station chains totaling 12.8 km, so sensor islands at distant conveyor zones remain under the same control card. Direct machine signaling is handled by 16 TTL in / 16 TTL out lines that eliminate the need for external adapters when fast status bits are required. For cyclic data exchanged with a supervisory PLC, the PROFIBUS interface employs an 8 KB dual-port memory window, allowing deterministic access to setpoints and diagnostics without occupying the host CPU bus for prolonged transfers.
