The MTC-R02.1-M1-A2-A2-NN-FW is an NC module within the larger MTS200-R CNC controller. The CNC controller has been designed to be installed in a switchgear cabinet and has an IP 20 stnadard ingress protection. The system can be installed on the RMB02.2 racks. The controller also houses an SPS module in addition to the NC module. These modules allow the contruction of a highly functional machine tool controller. The SPS modules communicates with the MTC-R02.1-M1-A2-A2-NN-FW modules with the help of separate internal local bus that is implemented on the adapter board. The controller is designed with a modular approach and can be expanded by inserting modules in the slots U1, U2, and U3. This enables the controller to adapt to specific tasks. The controller can additionally accommodate the PROFIBUS-DP master module, PROFBUS-DP slave module, serial interface modules, and an INTERBUS MASTER module.
The MTC-R02.1-M1-A2-A2-NN-FW has a base unit that contains CNC processor in addition to an integrated axis processor which allows connecting up to drives.
