The MTC-R02.1-E1-A2-A2-A2-FW is a computer numerical control (CNC) processing module built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MTC200 CNC Modules series. The card occupies the central slot group of an Indramat automation rack, linking motion programs from the machine HMI to the SERCOS fiber-optic loops that drive servo amplifiers. By executing interpolation, buffering, and diagnostic routines in real time, the module orchestrates coordinated axis movement in lathes, milling machines, and transfer lines.
Physically, the module’s footprint is 83.7 × 192 × 152 mm, allowing dense cabinet layouts without obstructing airflow. Its control kernel can supervise up to 32 axes, while each optical loop is limited to eight drives to maintain telegram timing. Control electronics are powered from the backplane at a nominal 24 VDC level; operation is permitted down to 18 VDC with a permitted ripple of 4 Vpp. Peak demand is 930 mA, and inrush protection on the cabinet supply must accept the startup spike defined separately.
