The MTC-R01.1-M1-A2-FW module is a CNC control unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the MTC200 CNC Modules series. The device occupies a single slot in a control cabinet and works as the communication and processing core for axis groups on a Sercos automation network. By coordinating servo drives, it executes interpolation and sequencing tasks common in milling, turning, and general machine-tool applications.

For stable electronics operation, the unit is powered from a nominal supply of 24 VDC, and its internal logic draws up to 510 mA during normal operation. At power-up, a brief surge of 20 A must be accommodated by the cabinet supply; this inrush current charges the capacitive energy stores without requiring external soft-start hardware. Thermal dissipation is limited to 14.3 W, so airflow inside the enclosure is usually sufficient without dedicated fans.
