The MTC-P01.2-M2-A2-A2-NN-FW is an axis-processing controller card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MTC200 CNC Modules series. Installed in the control rack of a modular CNC system, the card supplies real-time motion computation so that a host industrial PC can coordinate multiple servo drives over a fiber-optic network. By managing interpolation, position control, and communication from the ISA backplane to the SERCOS drive ring, it forms the bridge between numerical program code and synchronized axis movement on the plant floor. This arrangement lets the control card handle time-critical motion tasks inside the rack while the front-end PC manages higher-level program execution and operator functions.

At the motion layer, the card supports up to 8 axes, a base capacity that matches mid-size machining centers and transfer lines. Command data reach the drives via the SERCOS interface, ensuring deterministic cycle times and galvanic isolation. Program variables and dynamic buffers reside in 2 MB RAM, while an included co-processor executes kinematic calculations without loading the host CPU. Physical size is held to 17.5 × 124 × 280 mm, allowing the board to slide into a single slot of an industrial ISA chassis.
