The MTC-P01.2-M1-A2-A2-A2-FW is a multi-axis control card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MTC200 CNC Modules series. Installed in an industrial PC chassis, the board links numerical control functions with drive systems in automated machining centers, packaging lines, and handling gantries. By supplying coordinated axis commands to digital drives through a fiber-optic interface, the card acts as the central motion coordinator inside the automation hierarchy. Its design supports modular expansion while conserving slot space.

Core motion capacity is provided by 8 integrated axes and can be expanded to a maximum of 32 axes when additional plug-in cards are attached. Calculation overhead for interpolation is shared between 3 axis processor modules and an integrated coprocessor, allowing up to 7 simultaneous processes without cycle overrun. Command transmission to servo amplifiers is handled over the SERCOS drive interface, which provides deterministic timing through optical rings. Upstream communication with the host controller uses the PC/104 expansion bus, so data moves directly to the local CPU backplane without external cabling. The original slot accommodates four stacked daughterboards, enabling fieldbus links, extra axis cards, or specialized I/O without altering the base footprint.

Program data and real-time variables are stored in 1 MB RAM, which is adequate for typical contouring tasks at the machine level.
