Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the MST530E-0014-FT-N0CN-NNNN, a stator assembly in the MST Synchronous Torque Motors series. This frameless direct-drive component is intended for rotary tables, printing cylinders, and other axes that demand high continuous torque at near-zero speed. By transmitting force directly to the load without mechanical reduction, the motor improves positioning accuracy and reduces backlash within automated machining cells and material-handling equipment. It integrates readily with liquid-cooled housings and multi-axis inverters, forming a compact torque source for synchronized motion sequences on modern production floors.
There are 20 per side holes along the stator flange, and each hole is tapped for M8 threads with a depth of 20 mm. A mounting preload of 4860 N from the magnets keeps the lamination stack seated against the machine plate during acceleration. The power and feedback bundle exits on the axial large-diameter side, preventing cable loops inside the working envelope. To control winding temperature, the copper is stabilized by thermal encapsulation and monitored by a KTY84-130 sensor that is routed on a dedicated AWG24 pair of leads. These provisions allow the drive to regulate current while the encapsulated windings dissipate heat into the host structure.
