Product Description:
The MST530E-0010-FT-N0CD-NNLA is a frameless stator unit manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MST Synchronous Torque Motors series. Designed for direct-drive systems, it provides high torque at low rotational speed, which helps remove the need for reduction gearboxes in extruders, rotary tables, and molding machines. The stator uses liquid cooling through embedded channels and thermal encapsulation to keep temperature distribution stable during continuous operation. Because it is a frameless component, it is installed directly into the surrounding machine structure and works with a dedicated rotor to form the active motor assembly.
Under nominal conditions, the stator generates 2100.0 Nm of torque while drawing a phase current of 64.0 A. Its rated mechanical output is 22.00 kW at synchronous speed. For short overload intervals, it can handle up to 212.0 A and produce a peak torque of 4700.0 Nm. Cooling water must flow at a sufficient rate to remove winding and core losses, and the power terminals are sized for fine-stranded copper conductors so the current path remains suitable for high-load operation. The winding resistance at 20 °C also affects copper losses during continuous duty.
The torque constant is 32.80 Nm/A, allowing the controller to estimate output torque directly from stator current. A phase inductance of 7.5 mH helps filter current ripple and eases drive-side switching demands during operation. The thermal time constant is 8.3 min, so temperature monitoring must respond quickly when the load changes. Despite its compact form, the stator weighs 63.0 kg, which adds stability to the mounted structure while still remaining practical to position during assembly. This combination supports smooth low-speed motion in applications that require direct torque transmission without gearbox backlash.
