Product Description:
The MST530D-0012-FH-N0KR-NNNN from Rexroth is primarily designed for applications where high rotational torque is necessary, for example, mixing units, rotary filtration units, CNC turn tables, Milling tables, etc. This motor rotates slowly and smoothly as it has a base speed of 100 rpm and a peak speed of 200 rpm and also features around 35 poles that ensure smooth rotations throughout. This motor requires maintenance after every 25000 cycles of use as it comes with bearings that require lubrication to ensure a smooth rotation especially when attaching heavy load to the motor shaft.
The frame of this motor is of size D which is one of the largest frames with a centering diameter of 400 mm and length 600 mm. The centering diameter helps keep the shaft perfectly balanced to keep the load on the shaft distributed pretty evenly and prevent the shaft from breaking while under stress. The motor weighs around 105 kg and can be mounted at the maximum permissible altitude of 1000 meters above sea level using either its 250 mm flange or foot mounting.
This torque motor utilizes the liquid cooling option to help cool the motor coil keeping it cool during heavy-duty operation. The liquid cooling has a pressure difference limit of 3 bars to help keep the liquid cooling system stable preventing it from leaking during high temperatures. The MST530D-0012-FH-N0KR-NNNN comes with a class F thermal insulation that provides maximum temperature insulation for up to 170 degrees Celsius helping keep the servo motor protected in the case of fire or high abnormal temperatures during operation as the recommended temperature for this torque motor is between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius maximum.
