The MST530 C is one of the larger frames AC torque motors and the MST530C-0014-FH-N0KR-NNNN offers a rotational torque of 2100 Nm which is more than enough for heavy industrial activities especially when it comes to simply providing the rotational motion, especially in the case of mixing units in an industrial setting or even the base tables used in the lathe and CNC machines that require rotation to help move the object being worked on.
This AC motor comes with a liquid cooling option where the liquid cooling sheet is wrapped around the coil of the motor and has a power dissipation rating of 6.5 kW. The coolant temperature at the inlet is set between 10 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius for the cooling to be effective overall. The temperature increase at the pressure value is set at around 10 degrees Celsius. This AC torque motor comes with a thermal time constant of just 8.3 minutes which is the maximum time that it takes for this motor to settle down to its steady state temperature allowing the torque motor to cool down pretty quickly.
This AC torque motor comes with an all-aluminum design that helps the motor prolong its life since all-metal designs are heavy-duty and do come with an aesthetical black primer paint that not only looks good on the motor but has a second purpose as well as they are used as a sealant against oxidation that may lead to corrosion of the motor’s body in the long run, especially since MST series of motors do not come with an Ingress Protection rating to keep them safe in the case of wet and dusty environments.
