MST450E-0018-NS-N0CN-NNNN is a synchronous IndraDyn T torque motor that is designed for the sole purpose of providing rotational torque. This motor is used in industrial turn tables or in rotary equipment thanks to their high torque output. This servo motor comes with a rotational torque rating of 1400 Nm of standard torque which is a high output torque in the series of MST. The current required for producing such high torque outputs is around 46 amperes which makes this motor less power-demanding and more efficient.
The mounting of this motor is pretty simple as it comes with the pancake enclosure design where the motor is not that long and has a frame of size E with a centering diameter of 350 mm. The motor can be mounted using the flange mounting option as well as can be placed under rotating equipment with the help of foot mounting. The power rating of this servo motor is 17.6 kW and requires 575 volts AC to operate with a 3-phase input configuration. The frequency for the input voltage supported by this servo motor is 50 to 60 Hz which is in line with the universal input voltage frequency.
This torque motor comes with 30 pole pairs that help rotate the rotor shaft of the motor as smoothly as possible ensuring smooth rotation at the output to prevent jittering. The torque motor features standard bearing rings to help rotate the motor smoothly for longer periods of time. To perform maintenance always ensure the motor has completed 30000 cycles before proceeding. This motor should not come in contact with water as the MST450E-0018-NS-N0CN-NNNN torque motor comes with an IP00 protection rating.
