The MST450E-0011-NS-N0CN-NNNN is engineered for high-torque direct-drive applications that are dependent upon precision and thermal stability. This torque motor’s stator is designated MST. This unit has mechanical dimensions and power ranges corresponding to its status 450. Also, the “E” in the name indicates its larger frame size, which minimizes nominal velocity while providing more torque. The rated velocity of this particular unit is 110min-1, which corresponds to a DC bus voltage of 330V.

Liquid cooling is not present in this model; instead, the unit MST450E-0011-NS-N0CN-NNNN depends on natural convection to lower its temperature. This method relies on passive airflow to dissipate heat, eliminating the need for liquid circulation. It manages heat without active cooling jackets for the stator fitted into the motor’s housing. So, the term “S” refers to standard encapsulation.
