It is suitable for indexing tables, extruders, and similar automation stages that benefit from gearless transmission. This layout reduces the need for intermediate gear stages and supports smooth motion in compact rotary assemblies.
Under steady operation, the stator delivers a rated torque of 810 Nm while maintaining a shaft speed of 190 rpm. At that operating point, it produces a rated output of 16.10 kW and requires a phase current of 31.0 A, so the cabling must accommodate 6.0 mm² power conductors. During rapid acceleration or heavy load steps, the windings can be driven up to a maximum of 2075 Nm with a corresponding pulse current of 100.0 A, so the connected inverter must tolerate this peak demand.
