The MST450D-0006-FT-NZCD-N315 is a frameless direct-drive motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat's MST Synchronous Torque Motors series. As a low-speed, high-torque stator-rotor set, it mounts directly to rotary tables, indexing heads, or extruder screws where gearboxes are undesirable. By generating high continuous torque at very low speed, the unit simplifies the mechanical layout and improves positioning accuracy in industrial automation systems. Because the motor is integrated into the machine structure, it can reduce backlash and remove gear stages or couplings that add compliance.
At its nominal operating point, the motor delivers 810 Nm while drawing 18.8 A and turning at 60 rpm. That combination yields a rated mechanical output of 5.10 kW, and iron and copper losses add up to 4.00 kW of heat that must be removed by the machine's cooling system.
