The MST450D-0006-FT-N0CN-NNNN offers a large frame design that comes with a frame of size 450 D which weighs around 38.7 kg along with the rotor being 17 kg in weight. To mount this torque motor under a rotary table or to a rotating drum, the MST450D-0006-FT-N0CN-NNNN can be mounted with the help of the flange mounting option which is the only mounting configuration supported by all the IndraDyn T series of torque motors.
To ensure efficient transformation of electric current into rotational output torque, the coil in this motor design comes with a winding resistance of 3.95 ohms and also a winding inductance of 31 mH. Since this motor offers a low inertia of 0.64 kgm2, the maximum speed this motor can attain within a short span of time is around 130 rpm, which is perfect for when the motor needs to change its speed and direction based on the inputs received from the control module and the parameter values of the control systems.
