The MST450B-0012-FT-N0CN-NNNN from the MST series of torque motors comes with a low rotational speed of 120 rpm but is mainly designed to operate heavy rotary tables as it can generate a nominal rotational torque of 540 Nm. This torque motor is designed to be attached directly using the direct drive function which attaches the motor shaft directly to the component of interest that needs torque transmitted. This motor can be mounted using the flange mounting option.
With a power rating of 6.8 kW, this motor is designed to provide moderate levels of power to allow this motor to provide an efficient and powerful output. To operate this motor, the MST450B-0012-FT-N0CN-NNNN requires a median voltage level of 279 volts AC to operate and has a voltage range of 179 to 475 volts AC. The standard current draw of this motor is around 22 amperes when producing a torque of 540 Nm while at the maximum speed torque of 1200 Nm this motor draws around 70 amperes of current. To make sure this servo motor does not get too hot or endure heavy losses due to heat dissipation from high current draw, the MST450B-0012-FT-N0CN-NNNN comes with a liquid cooling option which only takes in coolants that have temperatures between -10 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius.
