The MST360E-0018-FT-N0CN-D303 from Rexroth is a torque motor that comes with a high-speed rating of 300 rotations per minute while generating a rotational torque of 1900 Nm perfect for heavy load applications that may require torque transmission. This motor is primarily designed for rotary tables that are commonly used with machining centers, assembly lines, or inspection systems enabling rotational motions perfect for applications such as drilling, machining, and milling.
This motor comes with a rated speed of 180 rpm and draws around 42 amperes of current from the respective supply module. The motor features around 30 pole pairs responsible for generating the required electromagnetic fields needed to rotate the motor shaft with as much accuracy as possible to ensure smooth rotations and to control the speeds of the motor by keeping it under the setpoint entered by the operator in the control module. This torque motor can be controlled via a compatible controller module and can be used in conjunction with supported PLCs and DCS systems to integrate enhanced control systems with this motor and to provide high-performance output.
Since this motor is designed to provide high levels of torques, this servo motor comes with a liquid cooling option which ensures that this servo motor does not get too hot and stays within the operational limit of a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This motor is designed for the flange mounting option only and can be connected directly to the system without needing an external coupler. This servo motor comes with an IP00 protection rating and must be installed in an enclosed structure to prevent environmental factors from affecting the performance of the servo motor.
