With a frame size of 360D, the MST360D-0012-FT-NZCD-N305 from Rexroth is a torque motor that comes with a compact-sized housing that is easier to mount and easy to carry around. The motor weighs approximately 42.3 kg, with its stator weighing 28.8 kg, while its rotor weighs approximately 13.5 kg. The motor can easily be installed on a flange mount, allowing it to be installed flat or sideways, ensuring the load on the motor shaft remains centrally aligned and does not affect the shaft by applying stress to it.
To ensure the motor remains at low friction, it is always recommended to lubricate the motor bearings after every 15,000 cycles of use. This keeps the shaft spinning smoothly, even when the load on the shaft keeps adding up, causing the motor to slow down slightly due to added stress. Users can use customized sets of bearings according to their applications and requirements but must ensure that they are compatible with this torque motor model for proper installation.
