With a winding designation 0012 that has a resistance rating of 5.7 ohms along with an inductance rating of 43.2 mH, the MST360D-0012-FT-N2CS-NNNN from Rexroth is designed to deliver high power output, which is then transformed into its maximum rotational torque at the output. The nominal shaft rotation torque is 575 Nm, while at maximum, the shaft rotation torque is 1150 Nm, ensuring this torque motor is able to generate a a lot of force to move heavy industrial setups.

This motor can rotate at a slow rate of 120 rpm, which is when it's being operated at nominal speed, while at maximum load, this motor is able to move at the speed of 250 rpm, which is nominal by high-speed motor standards, but because this is a torque motor, it's primary purpose is to generate high torques and not speed. When powering this 6.6 kW torque motor, ensure to use a 2.5 mm² conductor that allows high current of up to 60 amperes to flow through the conductor without affecting the quality of transmission or the medium of transmission.

This motor is thermally insulated thanks to its class F thermal insulation, ensuring the MST360D-0012-FT-N2CS-NNNN is able to withstand up to 170 degrees Celsius of temperature without affecting the entire torque motor design. The MST360D-0012-FT-N2CS-NNNN does not feature any kind of cooling system; rather, it depends upon self-cooling through natural convection, hence a cool ambient environment is recommended with a temperature between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The motor can also be stored and kept away, as the storage environment has temperatures between -20 to 80 degrees Celsius with no operation. This motor should be kept away from liquids, as it comes with an IP00 rating.
