The MST290G-0020-FT-N0SN-D303 is an MST torque motor from the IndraDyn T series of high-torque production motors. This particular motor is able to generate a nominal torque of 575 Nm, which can be extended to 1150 Nm with the help of an increase in the speed of rotation from 180 rpm to 350 rpm. The motor does not require any special kind of bearing to help it rotate and can operate without the need for a bearing system. This motor is a low-maintenance design as it does not feature any high-friction mechanical parts; however, it is recommended to perform maintenance after every 35,000 cycles of operation.

The MST290G-0020-FT-N0SN-D303 relies on natural convection, where the motor uses the ambient air to ensure cooling within the motor housing, and should be mounted in a well-ventilated environment where the temperature is between 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius. In the case of humidity, the motor can withstand up to 89% humidity. For idle operation and in the case of storage, the motor should always be kept in an environment with an ambient temperature between -20 degrees Celsius and 80 degrees Celsius.

Installing this motor is possible through both flange and foot mounting options; however, when installing the motor under a load, it is always recommended to install it using foot mounting, as it is much more stable for the motor during high torque rotation, as all the load is acting downwards onto the motor. For mounting it onto a gearbox system, the motor can be mounted using a flange mount, where it can easily operate the gearbox system by transmitting the torque easily.
