The MST290F-0020-FT-N0CN-D303 is a synchronous torque motor module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MST Synchronous Torque Motors series. Designed for direct-drive rotary axes and indexing tables, the motor delivers high continuous torque without gearing, which helps reduce backlash in precision positioning applications. Its frameless stator-rotor construction integrates directly into the machine housing, allowing OEMs to maintain high stiffness at low speeds while reducing wear from intermediate mechanical components. This layout is well suited for large rotary platforms that need smooth motion, repeatable positioning, and compact integration inside the surrounding machine structure.
The stator uses liquid cooling, so heat is removed by circulating coolant rather than by ambient air alone. At the rated point, the phase draws 39.9 A and turns at 265 rpm, developing 715 Nm of continuous torque. A torque constant of 17.92 Nm/A means the motor produces substantial torque with relatively low speed, which is useful for direct-drive tables and other high-inertia loads.
